| My Vision…Fulfilled!
Seventeen years ago, I started my
career as a print model. Occasionally,
the agency sent me to trade shows,
conferences and other kinds of business
events. I have to tell you, back then,
the other models and I felt unprepared
and a bit awkward when a potential
customer approached us looking for
answers about the product or service
we were selling. It wasn’t because
we were unintelligent, or because
we felt self-conscious. It was because
we never learned about our customer/exhibitor,
their products and services, and how
we could best represent them until
we actually arrived at the event!
Talk about nerve wracking!
Even back then, I saw the advantage
of hiring attractive people to lure
potential customers to the booths.
But I was also sure it could be done
much more professionally. I had experience
as modeling industry trainer, and
I knew if I could find an expert to
help me train intelligent, responsible
and attractive people in the art of
Trade Show and Convention interactions,
I would really have something of value
to bring to trade show exhibitors,
and be a step ahead of the modeling
agencies!
So in 1987, I started Stacey Lee
Agency. We developed professional
Tradeshow and Convention training
for our staff, and revolutionized
the industry by sending Trade Show
and Convention Personnel to exhibits
rather than just plain “models.”
Over the last 15 years we’ve
found more and better ways to supply
our personnel the day of the show,
and to educate our staff on the products
and services you offer—before
the events so they’re well prepared!
We consider our service to be the
greatest resource an exhibitor can
bring to any event, and our successful
track record and happy clients agree!
This new look you see now completes
that vision I had so many years ago,
and sets up a platform which allows
us to expand our Trade Show resources
to Destination Management and event
Temporary Services. Who knows what's
next!
All I can say is that it’s
been a great journey, and I really
love what I do!
Wishing you success,
Stacey Lee
